Zen priest Myogen Steve Stucky is Co-Abbot of San Francisco Zen Center in residence at Green Gulch Farm in Marin Country. He received dharma transmission as a mature zen teacher from Abbot Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1993 in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. He is the senior teacher of Dharma Eye Zen Centers in Marin.

He has been practicing Zen for thirty years and is one of the original members of the elders council at San Francisco Zen Center. Besides training at Tassajara and San Francisco, he landscaped the organic vegetable farm development at Green Gulch Zen Temple, where he was in residence for seven years in the 70's.

Dharma Eye Sangha grew out of a meditation group that met in his home for many years. The community built a small zendo and temple in San Rafael where they practiced for ten years. The community now meets on Monday nights at Falkirk mansion in San Rafael, and offers retreats as well.

Steve lives with his wife Lane in Rohnert Park and is a father of three adult children. For many years he was a landscape designer/contractor well known for hie Zen gardens and waterfalls.
